Interactive design Guide

This first-of-its-kind interactive design guide has been created to simplify the design and planning process for heritage-led shopfront renewal on the High Street. To revive our historic high streets, we must consider all the different elements that comprise them.

Living above the shop

Traditionally, shopkeepers lived in flats above their ground floor shops. Restoring access to these properties will help to breathe new life into the High Street’.
